Terms of service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Agreement

By using the sangrep website, joining the waitlist, or accessing the private beta, you agree to these terms. If you're using sangrep on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization to them.

The service

sangrep parses document packages into an addressable tree and answers questions about them with validated citations. The product is in private beta: features may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice, and access may be granted or revoked at our discretion.

Your content

You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us the limited license needed to process them (parsing, indexing, and sending scoped excerpts to the AI providers you select), solely to provide the service to you. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

Accounts

Beta accounts are personal to you or your organization. Keep your credentials safe; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break or probe security, no reselling access, no automated scraping of the service, and no use that infringes someone else's rights.

AI output

sangrep validates citations against your documents, but AI-generated answers can still be wrong. Output is provided for review support, not as professional advice. You're responsible for decisions made from it.

Our IP and your feedback

The service, its software, and the sangrep brand remain ours. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Third-party services

The service depends on third-party providers (cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, Google Forms for the waitlist). Their terms govern their services; we're not responsible for outages or changes on their side.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end beta access for breach of these terms or as part of winding down the beta.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where sangrep is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the courts there. This clause will be updated with the specific jurisdiction when the operating entity is finalized.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Questions go to legal@sangrep.com.
